Sherburne County's Government Center will be illuminated in green lights this week, including Veterans Day (Friday), as we honor our bravest and hardest working men and women.
On the Consent Agenda, they hired Logan Hemmesch as a paid on-call firefighter and Daniel Hampton for the vacant park maintenance worker who is also an Elk River firefighter.
These individuals, who were nominated by their peers, are exemplary instructors who motivate students to reach their maximum potential, are positive role models for students and staff, and serve as examples to inspire fellow colleagues, students and our community through their leadership.
Of note on the Consent Agenda, they will authorize the execution of the Grant Agreement for Toward Zero Deaths for traffic enforcement, hire an on-call paid firefighter and a park maintenance worker, accept a donation from the Elk River Liquor Stores to the fire department from the proceeds of a fundraiser with Molson Coors, and approve the purchase of replacement trucks in 2023 that were delayed due to the pandemic.
