County Of Sherburne issued the following announcement on Nov. 08.
Our County Commissioners have approved a proclamation declaring Sherburne County an Operation Green Light county to show support for veterans and their families. Sherburne County's Government Center will be illuminated in green lights this week, including Veterans Day (Friday), as we honor our bravest and hardest working men and women.
We encourage you to do the same at your home or business by changing an exterior light bulb to green. And any veteran who needs help obtaining the benefits they have earned through their service, contact our Veterans Services office at (763) 765-3100.
