City Of Elk River recently issued the following announcement.
The City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, November 7 at City Hall.
Of note on the Consent Agenda, they will authorize the execution of the Grant Agreement for Toward Zero Deaths for traffic enforcement, hire an on-call paid firefighter and a park maintenance worker, accept a donation from the Elk River Liquor Stores to the fire department from the proceeds of a fundraiser with Molson Coors, and approve the purchase of replacement trucks in 2023 that were delayed due to the pandemic.
Police Officers Dakota Schafer and Ryan Cowley will affirm their oath of office.
In General Business, they will appoint two new members to the Energy City Commission and are expected to approve a licensing ordinance regarding Hemp THC sales.
At their Work Session, they will discuss the 2023-27 Capital Improvement Plan, the 2023 Budget, and the Furniture and Things Community Event Center Fund Balance
