City Of Albany issued the following announcement on Jan. 01.
The Warming House is open on North Lake for the skating season! The hockey boards will be set up sometime next week. Hours are as follows: closed Monday and Wednesday, Tuesday, 6-9PM, Thursday, 6-9PM, Friday, 3:30-9PM, Saturday/Sunday, 1-9PM. Times and days may vary. The phone number at the Warming House is 845-4980. The Warming House will be open to the public, but no supervisor. Skates are available, but we ask you don't take them with you when you are done skating. The Police Department and others will visit the facility during open hours to make sure there is no inappropriate behavior. Let's hope everyone has a wonderful experience and enjoy skating!
