City of Paynesville issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
You are herby notified that the Paynesville Planning Board has set a Public Hearing for the purpose of discussing a proposed Rental Ordinance in Chapter 38 entitled Dwelling Inspection, Rental Licensing & Regulation.
The public hearing has been set for 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in the City Hall Council Chambers at which time the Board will hear public comment on the proposed ordinance. The proposed Ordinance can be reviewed at City Hall during regular business hours (M – F 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.) or it can be found on the City’s website at www.paynesvillemn.com.
You are encouraged to attend. If you are unable to attend, but wish to express your opinion(s) you may write a letter to the Paynesville Planning Board stating your comments. It will be read aloud during the public hearing. Such letters should be mailed to or dropped off prior to the public hearing at the City of Paynesville, 221 Washburne Ave., Paynesville, MN 56362. The health and well-being of our community and employees are our top priority. Due to the growing cases of COVID-19 we want to make sure all persons feel safe and can be heard at the public hearing. Masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced.
