Big Lake Middle School issued the following announcement on Dec. 04.
Even though meals are free this year, we still need help from our families! School districts receive additional funding based on the number of approved free and reduced benefit applications. This year, our applications are approximately 7% lower than in years past, which equates to approximately $270,000 in less funding!
Benefits of filling out this form not only include free or reduced price meals, but also:
- Discounted SAT, ACT, and Advanced Placement test fees
- Discounts on athletic and activity fees
- Increased funding for technology
- Help maintain lower class sizes
- Help maintain student support services
- and much more!
