City of Paynesville issued the following announcement on July 17.
The Paynesville Police Department is in the process of looking into implementing a Body Worn Camera Program for the department. As part of the process we are seeking the communities input or comments about the the use of Body Worn Cameras by our officers. If you would like to provide your input or comments, please email Chief Wegner at paul.wegner@co.stearns.mn.us or you may mail or drop off your comments to the Chief or City Hall at 221 Washburne Ave, Paynesville, MN 56362.
