Health care professionals are working around the clock in hospitals across the country, doing their part to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

In St. Cloud Minnesota, a coffee company named Adventure Coffee MN, is offering up a free cup of joe to health care workers that visit their coffee truck.

The Adventure Coffee MN truck started parking outside local health care buildings before the pandemic began, but now, thanks to donations from approximately 850 people in the community, standard brews and specialty drinks are on the house, according to the SC Times.

Care Cups can be ordered on the company's website. Half of the 850 Care Cups have already been given out.

Care Cups are $5 each and when people donate, they can also write a message of appreciation to a health care professional.

Once the donation and message are accepted, the owner of Adventure Coffee MN Ryan Voeller, hand writes each message on a cardboard coffee cup sleeve that goes around each free cup of coffee, according to the SC Times.

Donations for cold brew orders are also being accepted.

The company has received 70 orders.

Rachel Erkens, a patient access assistant in the pediatric clinic at CentraCare Health Plaza, heard of Care Cups through word of mouth.

"It's a hard time right now and it meant a lot that people are still thinking of us," Erkens told the SC Times.

To order a Care Cup, go to adventurecoffeemn.com.
