CITY OF HOLDINGFORD: Lead Bartender for Municipal Liquor Store

City of Holdingford issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.

The City of Holdingford is accepting applications for a highly motivated individual to fill the Lead Bartender position at the Holdingford Municipal Liquor Store off-sale and on-sale operations. This position involves administrative duties, direct customer support, and is physically demanding. Also responsible for support of inventory control, charitable gambling, customer service and other duties pertaining to the liquor store operations. A high value will be placed on the ability to perform effective promotions, marketing skills, food handling knowledge and abilities.

Minimum requirements for the position are: High school graduate or equivalent with six plus years prior experience OR two-year degree in business administration, accounting, merchandising/marketing or related field with four years plus prior experience, OR Bachelor’s degree in similar area with two years plus prior experience, including retail sales experience; valid driver’s license; proficiency with office equipment and POS systems; supervising, and considerable knowledge of business management practices including compliance with laws and regulations regarding licensing, employment and health and safety. Food manager certification is recommended.

Position is part-time time (25 hours/week) with PERA benefits and hourly wage $14.19/hour, dependent on qualifications.
