City of Paynesville issued the following announcement on Nov. 4.
The City of Paynesville Fire Department is accepting sealed bids for the following equipment:
2001 Polaris Indy Sport Touring 2-Up, 550 fan cooled twin, with 1,397 miles and 78 hours
2001 Triton XT – Two Place Snowmobile Trailer
2001 Orion Ambulance Sled – Model 2400
The Fire Department will accept sealed bids until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Paynesville City Hall, 221 Washburne Ave., Paynesville, MN 56362 at which time they will be read aloud. All equipment will be sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied. The successful bidder will be responsible to pay for all costs associated with transferring ownership of the vehicles.

Bids shall be directed to the City of Paynesville Fire Department in a sealed envelope and endorsed upon the outside wrapper “BID FOR SNOWMOBILE, TRAILER AND SLED”. The bid must include name of bidder, address, telephone number, and bid amount for each piece of equipment being bid on.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the contract in the best interest of the City Original source can be found here.
