ST. CLOUD STATE UNIVERSITY:; At St. Cloud State University, the Huskies Food Pantry is a needed resource that provides free nutritious food options and other items for students

During fall 2022 semester, the food pantry had nearly 4,700 visits and distributed almost 22,000 pounds of food to students.

CITY OF WAITE PARK: The City of Waite Park employees and elected officials decided to sponsor a Waite Park family for Christmas this year.

We got their list, checked it twice and delivered the gifts in a sled. It was an honor to help a family out, especially one who continues giving back to the community with their time and talents.

BELGRADE-BROKEN-ELROSA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: The BBE Elementary School would like to thank the Knights of Columbus for their donation of winter coats and to the Bonanza Valley State Bank and River of Life church for their donation of hats and mittens.

Also, we want to thank the Glacial Ridge Ambulance, Bayer Built, BBE 6th graders, and other local businesses for their generous Toys for Tots donations.

ST. CLOUD STATE UNIVERSITY: The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration returns in 2023 with a multi-day, community celebration with the theme “Our Beloved Community: The Courage to Celebrate Diversity.”

The 11th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration will take place Jan. 14-16 in the St. Cloud area, with the main event on Jan. 16 held at the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud.
