There was the same number of registered sex offenders living in Stearns County in March compared to the previous month, according to the Minnesota Public Registrant Search.

There are 13 sex offenders registered in Stearns County in March.

The Registry shows none of these sex offenders are sexual predators. In Minnesota, convicted predatory offenders also are subject to certain mandatory sentencing laws that are designed to minimize their chances to re-offend.

Minnesota legislation about sex offenders and predators is currently being evaluated and revised, such as if offenders with good behavior can be removed from the Registry.

James Stamps Jr.	Criminal sexual conduct in the first degree	James Stamps has a history of physically assaulting and engaging in sexual contact with unknown adult females. Contact included penetration. Force and a weapon have been used to gain compliance. Stamps gained access by approaching them in a public setting.
Mark Thomas Fleischman	Criminal sexual conduct in the third degree, criminal sexual conduct in the second degree, criminal sexual conduct in the first degree	Mark Fleischman has a history of engaging in sexual contact against known, adult females. In each incident Fleischman met and befriended the victims via social media. Over the course of the separate interactions, Fleischman would drug the victims' beverages without their knowledge. Fleischman would then exploit the victims' vulnerable state.
Duane Lloyd Swanson	Criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree	Offender has a history of sexual conduct and contact with adolescent male victims(age 12 - 14). Conduct included showing one victim pornography. Contact included sexual touching. Offender gained access to victims by inviting them to his residence. Offender was known victims.
Maceo Lamont Williams	Criminal sexual conduct in the first degree, criminal sexual conduct in the second degree	Maceo Williams has a history of sexual contact with known adult females. Contact has included sexual touching and penetration. Williams gained access to two females by requesting assistance. Force, manipulation, accomplices, threats, and a weapon have been used to gain compliance.
Terrence Davone Olive	Criminal sexual conduct in the second degree	Terrence Olive engaged in sexual contact with a known female child on more than one occasion. Contact included sexual touching.
Nathan Christopher Braun	Criminal sexual conduct in the third degree	Nathan Braun engaged in sexual contact with a known female teen. Contact included penetration. Braun also showed her pornographic materials. Braun also has a history of assaultive behavior.
Steven Lee Odelius	Criminal sexual conduct in the second degree, criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree	Steven Odelius engaged in sexual contact against two unknown male children. Contact included sexual touching. Odelius gained access by approaching them in a public place. Odelius used manipulation to gain compliance.
Daniel Jerome Dols	Criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree	Daniel Dols engaged in sexual contact with a known adult male. Contact included sexual touching. Dols took advantage of his vulnerable state to exploit access.
Demetris Leonardo Duncan	Criminal sexual conduct in the first degree	Demetris Duncan engaged in sexual contact with an unknown adult female. Contact included penetration. Duncan gained access by entering her residence without permission while she was sleeping. Force and a weapon were used to gain compliance.
Dagan Michael Lasart	Criminal sexual conduct in the first degree, criminal sexual conduct in the second degree	Dagan Lasart engaged in sexual contact with an unknown adult female. Contact included sexual touching. Lasart gained access by entering her residence without permission. Lasart concealed his identity, and used force and a weapon to gain compliance.
Michael Allen Meyer	Criminal sexual conduct in the fifth degree (2 counts), criminal sexual conduct in the third degree	Michael Meyer has a history of engaging in sexual contact with known male and female children and teenagers. Contact has included sexual touching and penetration. Meyer has used bribes, manipulation, and has taken advantage of victims' vulnerable state to gain compliance.
Clarence Carthel Flowers	Criminal sexual conduct in the third degree	Clarence Flowers engaged in sexual contact against a known female teen. Contact included penetration. Flowers used attention and affection to attain and exploit unmonitored contact.
Dwaine Robert Smith	Criminal sexual conduct in the first degree	Dwaine Smith has a history of engaging in sexual contact and conduct with known male children. Contact included sexual touching and penetration; conduct included exposure. Smith used his position of authority and bribes to gain compliance.
