Lisa Demuth, a Minnesota state legislator and House Minority Leader, shared updates on her recent statewide tour through a series of posts on November 11 and 12, 2025. The tweets document meetings with local leaders and discussions on policy issues affecting various regions in Minnesota.

On November 11, Demuth wrote from Duluth: "In Duluth this morning w/ @RyanDWilsonMN to meet media & local grassroots leaders to discuss issues impacting the region. We're encouraged to know folks here are ready to help us retire Tim Walz's failed policies & worn-out rhetoric, & deliver a stronger, better Minnesota."

Later that day in Moorhead, she addressed tax policy concerns: "In Moorhead this afternoon, we pressed the need for Minnesota to provide a more competitive tax climate to attract and retain businesses & residents on our side of the borders we share with our neighboring states. We will retire Tim Walz's overburdensome tax policies in 2026."

Continuing her tour on November 12, Demuth posted about visits to Mankato and Paynseville: "We made visits in Mankato & Paynseville during our statewide tour today, where Ryan and I were able to lay out our vision for a stronger, better Minnesota and provide a road map on how to get there. This state is worth fighting for. Join us: https://t.co/0rxTInMMuu"

Demuth’s statements reference Governor Tim Walz’s policies as a central issue in her outreach efforts. As House Minority Leader since January 2023, Demuth has been vocal about fiscal responsibility and economic competitiveness within the state legislature.

Minnesota’s tax climate has been an ongoing topic of debate among policymakers. Discussions have focused on balancing revenue needs with economic growth strategies as neighboring states compete for business investment and population retention.
