Lisa Demuth, Minnesota House Speaker and gubernatorial candidate, outlined her campaign priorities and recent legislative achievements in a series of posts on November 9, 2025. Demuth emphasized her commitment to reducing government fraud and spending, improving education, and fostering economic growth.
In a post published at 00:11 UTC, Demuth stated: "One week in. We've hit the campaign trail hard sharing our vision for a stronger, better Minnesota.
We'll eliminate the culture of fraud & wasteful govt spending, deliver an excellent education for every child, & foster an economy where businesses & families grow & thrive."
Later that morning at 15:36 UTC, she invited followers to watch her appearance on KSTP's "At Issue" program with political reporter Tom Hauser. She wrote: "Tune into @kstp at 10 a.m. this morning as I chat with political reporter Tom Hauser on his Sunday 'At Issue' program about my run for governor.
In this campaign, we are laser-focused on retiring Tim Walz and the culture of fraud he's presided over the last 7 years.

Shortly after, Demuth reflected on her role during the most recent legislative session. At 15:43 UTC she posted: "As House Speaker during the 2025 legislative sesssion, I stood firm in negotiations with Gov. Walz and the Democrats. House Republicans were able to deliver the largest state budget reduction to Minnesotans in history.
The work has just begun. Minnesota is worth fighting for."
Demuth has served as Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives since January 2025 and is currently running for governor against incumbent Tim Walz. Her campaign messaging focuses on government accountability and fiscal responsibility while positioning herself as an alternative to Governor Walz’s administration.
