On Friday, April 18, former Elk River High School standout Karen Balabon’s college team won in an NCAA Division III softball game

On Friday, April 18, former Elk River High School standout Karen Balabon’s current college team, the UW-Superior Yellowjacket, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Minnesota Morris Cougars.

The game took place at NBC Baseball & Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Yellowjacket’s next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 6 p.m. at NBC Baseball & Softball Complex against Minnesota Morris Cougars.
