On Sunday, April 13, former Becker Senior High School standout Kurstyn Patnode’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mavericks, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the St. Cloud State Huskies.

The game took place at Maverick All-Sports Dome. This was their second matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 12 p.m. at Pete Chapman Complex against Wayne State Wildcats.
