On Saturday, April 12, former Paynesville Area Secondary School standout Eli Nelson’s current college team, the Concordia Golden Bears, lost 9-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wayne State Wildcats.

The game took place at Pete Chapman Complex. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 4 p.m. at Pete Chapman Complex against Wayne State Wildcats.
