On Friday, April 4, former Elk River High School standout Sam Stockman’s current college team, the Utah Utes, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the West Virginia Mountaineers.

The game took place at Monongalia County Baseball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Mountaineers this season.

The Utes’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 1:05 p.m. at Monongalia County Baseball Complex against West Virginia Mountaineers.
