On Friday, March 28, former Elk River High School standout Sam Stockman’s current college team, the Utah Utes, lost 9-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The game took place at Smith's Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Sun Devils this season.

The Utes’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at Smith's Ballpark against Arizona State Sun Devils.
