On Friday, March 21, former Paynesville Area Secondary School standout Eli Nelson’s current college team, the Concordia Golden Bears, won 12-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northern State Wolves.

The game took place at Barnes Field. This was their second matchup against the Wolves this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at Barnes Field against Northern State Wolves.
