On Sunday, March 9, former Paynesville Area Secondary School standout Eli Nelson’s current college team, the Concordia Golden Bears, won 10-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Minot State Beavers.

The game took place at Kino Sports Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Beavers this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 13 at 12 p.m. at Barnes Field against UMary Marauders.
