On Saturday, March 8, former Paynesville Area Secondary School standout Eli Nelson’s current college team, the Concordia Golden Bears, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Minot State Beavers.

The game took place at Kino Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Beavers this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 2 p.m. at Kino Sports Complex against Minot State Beavers.
