On Saturday, March 22 former Albany Area High School Paige Meyer competed in hopes to reach NCAA Division I Basketball Championship

On Saturday, March 22, former Albany Area High School standout Paige Meyer’s current collegiate team the South Dakota State Jackrabbits won 74-68 against the Oklahoma State Cowgirls in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Harry A. Gampel Pavilion, this was the first game against the Oklahoma State Cowgirls during the championship.

The South Dakota State Jackrabbits’ next game will take place on Monday, March 24 at 7 p.m. in Harry A. Gampel Pavilion against UConn Huskies.

Paige Meyer’s hometown is Albany and game position is guard.
