On Tuesday, March 18, former Albany Area High School standout Tysen Gerads’ current collegiate team the Minnesota State–Moorhead Dragons lost 93-65 against the Washburn Ichabods in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Lee Arena, this was the first game against the Washburn Ichabods during the championship.

Tysen Gerads’ hometown is Avon and game position is guard.
