City Of Richmond recently issued the following announcement.
Please join us as we honor the 10th anniversary of Officer Decker’s end of watch. We will have law enforcement personnel from around the state to be able to publicly thank them for their continued sacrifice in keeping our communities safe. Honored guests include the families of Officer Tom Decker, Officer Brian Kleinfelter (St. Joseph), and Officer Scott Patrick (Mendota Heights).
Special guests include US Congressman Tom Emmer, Representative Lisa Demuth, Senator Jeff Howe, Bishop Kettler, BCA Superintendent Andrew Evans, former Police Chief Phil Jones, St. Cloud Fire & Police Pipes and drums, Coldspring President Greg Flint, Cold Spring Brewing President Maurice Bryan, Pastor Denny Curran, local recording artist Derrick Benoit, and many police chiefs and sheriff’s amongst others. 10 years ago we said that we would “never forget”. This is our opportunity to demonstrate as a state and community that we continue to honor their ultimate sacrifice.
