CITY OF ELK RIVER: Elk River City Council Meeting

City Of Elk River recently issued the following announcement.

The Elk River City Council will meet for their regular meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday or following the EDA meeting, whichever is earlier.

The Consent Agenda includes two address changes, an ARPA Fund transfer to the Multipurpose Facility Fund, resolutions to levy assessments for delinquent utility services, final approval of the Capital Improvement Plan purchase of a replacement park maintenance tractor and equipment and the hiring of police officers Bailey Roscoe and Patrick Bendel.

Mayor Dietz will recognize his November Volunteer of the Month and provide the oath of office to firefighters Connor Allen, Dean Anderson, David Johnson, Ben Jongewaard, Keith Koshiol, Camron L’Heureux, Justin Moehle, Kassie Nelson, Matthew Pooler, Kristin Prescott, Ashley Sanders and recognize and thank City Attorney Peter Beck for his service to the community for over 40 years as he begins his retirement.

Four Public Hearings are scheduled including three Conditional Use Permits, allowing additional height to a proposed ministorage building, for bank signage at Coborn’s Grocery, and a withdrawn request for home occupation. The Council will also receive feedback on the proposed 2023 Fee Schedule.

In General Business, they will discuss and provide staff direction regarding a state grant to fund two interchanges on southeast Highway 10/169.

During Work Session the Council will receive a presentation on the 2023 Multipurpose Facility Budget as approved by the Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission and provide direction as needed.
