The Registry shows eight sex offenders living in Stearns County in July

There was one less registered sex offender living in Stearns County in July compared to the previous month, according to the Minnesota Public Registrant Search.

There are eight sex offenders registered in Stearns County in July, compared to nine the month before.

The Registry shows none of these sex offenders are sexual predators. In Minnesota, convicted predatory offenders also are subject to certain mandatory sentencing laws that are designed to minimize their chances to re-offend.

Minnesota legislation about sex offenders and predators is currently being evaluated and revised, such as if offenders with good behavior can be removed from the Registry.

Contact included sexual touching. Lasart gained access to victim by entering her residence without permission. Force and a weapon were used to gain compliance. Lasart was also wearing a mask and was not known to victim.
Duane Lloyd SwansonCriminal sexual conduct in the fourth degreeOffender has a history of sexual conduct and contact with adolescent male victims(age 12 – 14). Conduct included showing one victim pornography. Contact included sexual touching. Offender gained access to victims by inviting them to his residence. Offender was known victims.
Maceo Lamont WilliamsCriminal sexual conduct in the first degree, criminal sexual conduct in the second degree Maceo Williams has a history of sexual contact with known adult females. Contact has included sexual touching and penetration. Williams gained access to two females by requesting assistance. Force, manipulation, accomplices, threats, and a weapon have been used to gain compliance.
Michael Allen MeyerCriminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree (2 counts), criminal sexual conduct in the third degreeMichael Meyer has a history of engaging in sexual contact with known male and female children and teenagers. Contact has included sexual touching and penetration. Meyer has used bribes, manipulation, and has taken advantage of victims' vulnerable state to gain compliance.

Contact included sexual touching. Odelius gained access by approaching them in a public place. Odelius used manipulation to gain compliance.
