City Of Elk River recently issued the following announcement.
The City Council meets Monday night, August 1, at 6:30 p.m. On the agenda Council will meet the new Elk River Utilities Deputy General Manager Mark Hanson who will become the general manager upon Theresa Slominski’s retirement later this year. They will recognize Secretary/Receptionist Dawn Swanson who is retiring after 10 years of service. Under public hearings Council will hear about a competitive franchise request by Tekstar Communications aka/Arvig. In work session Council will review and provide final comments on the Highway 10 Corridor Study.
