CITY OF HOLDINGFORD COUNTY OF STEARNS STATE OF MINNESOTA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING on APPROVAL OF THE USE OF PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Holdingford, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 9th , 2022, at 7:00 p.m., at the Holdingford City Hall in the City of Holdingford, Minnesota, relating to an Economic Development Tax Abatement Resolution, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.1812 to 469.1815 inclusive, as amended, to finance up to $218,000 in assistance to Berkon Outdoors with the expansion of their existing manufacturing facility. The City intends to provide annual abatement payments, the total of which will not exceed $218,000 collected over a period of not more than fifteen (15) years, commencing with taxes payable 2023. The following tax parcels are proposed to be included in the proposed tax abatement: PIN# 58-33636-0000 Copies of the Abatement Resolution as proposed to be adopted will be on file and available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk at City Hall. CITY OF HOLDINGFORD COUNTY OF STEARNS STATE OF MINNESOTA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING on PROPOSED BUSINESS SUBSIDY FOR BERKON OUTDOORS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council (the “Council”) of the City of Holdingford, Stearns County, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 9 th, 2022, at approximately 7:10 p.m., at the Holdingford City Hall, located at 420 Main Street in the City of Holdingford, Minnesota, relating to the proposed business subsidy agreement with Berkon Outdoors, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 116J.993 through 116J.995, inclusive, as amended. Any person with residence in or owner of taxable property in the City of Holdingford may file a written complaint with the City if the City fails to comply with the Minnesota Statute noted above. If written notice is not filed with the City, no action may be taken against the City for failure to comply. Summaries of the Subsidy Agreement as proposed to be adopted will be on file and available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk at City Hall.
