City Of Foley issued the following announcement on Dec. 17.
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!! A message from your Foley Fire Department! Help us spread the news!
In closing out a tough year and with the holiday season upon us, the Foley Fire Department will be spreading some holiday cheer with a tour through town on Wednesday evening, Dec. 23. Along the way, we will have candy canes for any kids we meet. There is a rumor that Santa Clause may also make an appearance.
The tour will be in the neighborhoods in south part of town (Pine Street and South) between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The tour will shift to neighborhoods north of Main Street between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Watch for the big red trucks with flashing lights and Fire Fighters out walking. Come out for a candy cane and to say hello!
