For the fourth year in a row, the St. Cloud’s Public Utilities Department has been recognized as the Utility of the Future Today, according to the city's website.
The Utility of the Future Today (UOTF) program brings recognition to water resource recovery facilities that are engaged in their respective communities.
The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA), the Water Environment Federation (WEF), the WateReuse Association and the Water Research Foundation (WRF) are the organizations that provide the recognition for the utility companies that go beyond the call of duty.
St. Cloud Public utility officials saod their mission is to “provide utility services in a safe and cost-effective manner while providing excellent customer services and environmental protection.”
St. Cloud also said it is dedicated to providing sustainable, cost-effective water to its residents and customers. The company also provides for economic development in the region.
