City of Belgrade issued the following announcement on Oct. 12.
On Friday, October 16, and Saturday October 17,
The City Public Works department will provide curbside pickup of leaves.
Please have your Leaves set out before 9:00 a.m. for both days.
Leaves must be separated from branches and put into bags.
DO NOT TIE BAGS!!
City Public Works department will also pick up branches
Friday October 16 and Saturday October 17 by 9:00 a.m.
Please set branches out before 9:00 a.m. for pick up for both days.
The branch pickup is designed for people who cannot get branches to the burn site.
Those who are able to haul their branches are asked to do so.
Only SMALL BRANCHES, 4 INCHES IN DIAMTER will be accepted.
No other material is to be brought to the burn demolition site.
The compost site is open daily for leaves and grass ONLY.
Do not leave plastic bags and other containers at the City’s compost site.
