CITY OF PAYNESVILLE: Proposed Police Body-Cam Policy Public Hearing

City of Paynesville issued the following announcement on Sept. 22.

You are hereby Notified that in compliance with State Statute the City of Paynesville has developed policy on the use of body-worn cameras for the Paynesville Police Department. 

The public hearing has been set for Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 5:35 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers at which time the Policies & Procedures Board will hear public comment on the proposed Use Of Body-Worn Cameras policy.  A copy of the proposed policy has been posted on the City’s website at www.paynesvillemn.com or can be viewed at City Hall during normal business hours of M – F from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing and/or submit written comments prior to the public hearing day to the Policies & Procedures Board or Chief of Police at 221 Washburne Ave., Paynesville, MN 56362 or via email to paul.wegner@co.stearns.mn.us or Belinda Ludwig, Co-Acting City Administrator at belinda@paynesvillemn.com.
