City of Becker issued the following announcement on July 9.
Notice To Voters
Notice Is Hereby Given that the City Election in the City of Becker, in the County of Sherburne, State of Minnesota will be held on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 2020 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at 12060 Sherburne Avenue.
That the First Day for filing Affidavits of Candidacy for said Election will be at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday the 28th day of July, 2020 and the last day for filing Affidavits of Candidacy for said Election will be at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday the 11th day of August, 2020. Candidates interested in filing may do so at City Hall, 12060 Sherburne Avenue, during regular office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Offices To Be Filled For General Election: Mayor and Two Council Member Positions. Each position is a four-year term.
Offices To Be Filled For General Election: One Council Member Position. This position will fill the vacant Council seat expiring at the end of 2022.
The filing fee is $2.00
