CITY OF BECKER: Due To The Dry Conditions, The City’s Wells Need Your Help

City of Becker issued the following announcement on June 26.

The Water Department would like to remind citizens of the City’s watering regulations.

Watering restrictions are in place from Memorial Day to Labor Day!

No Watering between 10:00am and 6:00pm
ODD / EVEN Watering Days. Residents with an address ending in an odd number such as 1,3,5,etc. shall sprinkle or irrigate only on odd numbered calendar days, and addresses ending with an even number may only irrigate on even numbered calendar days.
Violation of this ordinance will result in fines!

Heavy water usage, due to lawn irrigation, causes drastic increases in well run time. Increased well run time could result in well failure and watering bans. Please check your irrigation system and make sure you are in compliance with City watering regulations. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
