The Sherburne County Government Center is now open for limited in-person appointments for essential services and electronic for other public services after being closed to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
As of May 18, most government services can be provided electronically through email, phone calls, or via the county's website. If face-to-face interaction is necessary, it can be done by making an appointment through the online scheduling portal. Online booking is now available for the drivers license center, the passport center and the recorders office.
The county is urging residents to come prepared for their in-person appointments. They are asking visitors to wear a mask and bring their own pen to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
Residents can find all relevant county department contact information on the scheduling portal website. The county is urging residents who need access to services to use the website to find the appropriate channels to contact. Anyone who is sick or feeling unwell will need to reschedule their visit for another time.
