Islamic Center Of Saint Cloud issued the following announcement on April 24.
Asalamu alaykum and Ramadan Mubarak to all! We hope that you and your families are in the best of health and eman. RAMADAN begins tomorrow (Friday, April 24th) in shaa Allah. That means that tonight is the first night of taraweeh (In your homes). Do not forsake this blessed opportunity to transform your lives. Make the most of every minute. Seize every opportunity and work to gain the pleasure of Allah. Make dua for the ummah as a whole.
أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ لِرَمَضَانَ " مَنْ قَامَهُ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ".
Narrated Abu Huraira:
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying regarding Ramadan, "Whoever prayed at night in it (the month of Ramadan) out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven."
عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَىُّ الصَّوْمِ أَفْضَلُ بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ " شَعْبَانُ لِتَعْظِيمِ رَمَضَانَ " . قِيلَ فَأَىُّ الصَّدَقَةِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ " صَدَقَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ "
Anas narrated that :
the Prophet was asked which fast was most virtuous after Ramadan? He said: "Sha'ban in honor of Ramadan" He said: "Which charity is best?" He (pbuh) said: "Charity in Ramadan."
