City of Belgrade issued the following announcement on Dec. 26.
With the help from all of you that privately donated and some businesses, Belgrade Hardware, CMCU, Feed Co, Belgrade Commercial Club, Brooten Fire Relief, and Mike’s Market, we were able raise around $1500 in donations to provide Christmas to 4 families and 4 community Elders. The remaining funds, we are looking to work with the school and assist in students lunch account or fees like field trips and such with struggling families. The gifts and gift certificates were purchases locally so your donations stayed in the communities.
Members of the BBE Student Council helped with wrapping the gifts! I hope you have a safe and Happy Holiday season! Merry Christmas!
