St. Cloud State University issued the following announcement on Mar. 14. 

Congratulations to St. Cloud State Women’s Hockey Head Coach Brian Idalski, who has been named a finalist for the 2022-23 Division I Coach of the Year award!

In his first year leading the Huskies, Idalski is the program’s first finalist for National Coach of the Year after becoming the second coach in program history to be named WCHA Coach of the Year this season.
