It’s always imperative to clean up after our pets, but with the snow melt it’s particularly important. Pet waste contains bacteria harmful to our lakes and rivers. With the spring runoff, all that uncollected waste gets washed into our storm sewers, rivers and eventually our drinking water supply. 

Yuck! The concentrations in ammonia coming into the St Cloud water treatment plant have tripled this past week! Ammonia has several sources, one of which is pet waste. So please help keep our community and water clean! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXNsFt–qt4 H2You
