City Of Waite Park issued the following announcement on Aug. 17.

We want to congratulate the Waite Park Baseball 9u AAA baseball team who recently returned from Boonville, MO where they went 5-1 to win the Midwest Plains Region Cal Ripken Baseball Championship! The wins in Missouri automatically qualify this team for the 2023 10u World Series in Indiana next August! 

This completes a season where they also won the MN State Cal Ripken Baseball Championship!

The team will no doubt work hard to prepare for this once in a lifetime experience!
