City Of St. Joseph issued the following announcement on May 25.

Peace of Mind Paddling, June 17th, 10AM – Noon – Paddle Boarding Class at Kraemer Lake, $50/person

St. Joseph Parks and Recreation has partnered with Peace of Mind Paddling, to bring you a fun and unique paddleboard experience! This class will be a great experience for beginners/intermediate users or someone looking to try paddle boarding for the first time. 

In this class you will learn tips and tricks on how to use the equipment properly and safely. Peace of Mind Paddling will be providing all equipment, including paddles and a lifejacket. All participants will need to sign a liability waiver at the beginning of class. A parent/guardian must sign the waiver for anyone under 18. The registration deadline is June 3rd.
