PART TIME – Street/Parks Maintenance Worker: 

The City of Melrose, MN is accepting applications for the position of Street/Parks Maintenance Worker. The Street/Parks Maintenance Worker assists in maintenance of City-owned property. Performs skilled maintenance and repair work on City streets, parks, equipment, and buildings including the operation and maintenance of equipment. This position may work up to 40 hours during the summer and as an on needed basis for the remainder of the year. This position will be required to work some weekends. 

Desired qualifications include:  skill in the operation of light equipment, knowledge and skill of plumbing, carpentry, and masonry tasks; and streets and parks maintenance is preferred. 

Education, licensing and certifications: High school diploma or GED. Maintenance experience preferred . Valid MN Class D Driver’s License.   

Salary Range DOQ: $18.45 – $21.96 per hour. This position is not eligible for benefits.
