City Of Elk River issued the following announcement on Mar. 25.
Trash/recycle collecting day change
If your typical trash/recycling collection day is on Thursday of each week, listen up! Effective Monday, March 28, your new collection day will be WEDNESDAY, every week going forward. This applies to all Thursday Republic Services customers in Elk River.
Recycling collection will continue to be bi-weekly and be serviced the same day as trash. Those residents with a typical Tuesday or Wednesday service day previously will not be impacted by this change. Visit ElkRiverMN.gov/recycling to view the interactive map to verify your service area.
