City Of Elk River recently issued the following announcement.

The City Council meets at 6 p.m. on Monday, August 15. They will hold Public Hearings to review a Conditional Use Permit for a private kennel at 19054 Waco Street and consider a Simple Plat for Beaudry Elk River Addition. 

For General Business, the Council will discuss the $1.5 million replacement of the Fire Department ladder truck. In their Work Session, they will consider a temporary moratorium on the sale of hemp THC products and receive a report on the Elk RiverFest event held a few weeks ago.
