Of the 9,372 citizens living in Marshall County in 2019, 7,235 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 3,538 of those people were female and 3,697 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
