In the week ending Mar. 7, one gas station in Stearns County sold E85 gas at the lowest reported price of $1.79 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $1.90 per gallon for E85 gas.
Stearns County had three of 94 reported gas stations offering E85 gas.
Across Minnesota, the average reported price for a gallon of E85 gas rose to $2.23, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
